This painting was started several years ago. I recently found it in the at the back of a pile of old canvases and decided it was worth completing. I bought some Bosc pears to refresh my colour memory and to get the feel of the ripe round shapes. I'm pleased with the result.

Only high quality professional grade materials and paints were used in this artwork. The artwork is varnished (Gamvar) and the sides are painted.
