Sainte-Luce is a lovely town along the shores of the St. Lawrence river. I’d gone there to paint when the sky quickly grew dark. I was graced with a brief but beautiful cloudburst which I hope to capture with this work. I was also inspired by Eric Whitacre’s choral piece with the St. Olaf’s choir - also of the same title.

Only high quality professional grade materials and paints were used in this artwork. The artwork is varnished (Gamvar) and the sides are painted.
